Moments have always meant more than promises of eternity, to me. I have let go of stories of heaven and hell to chase a butterfly. Yes, I confess, I never caught one! But I've noticed the flutter of its wings, the colours as they blink, the patterns when it pauses over a flower.
When you notice something with totality, an alchemy happens. The wholeness brings you to the moment, the moment brings you wholeness, if you let it. We live diffused lives mostly. Our joys like our fears, our attractions like our aversions are seldom complete. If they are, we are transformed. Emptied of the waves of the mind... The object before us, the experience we are undergoing then assumes a vibrant presence. We truly see, we truly experience.
In this blog, I'm sharing moments. That's all. A few photographs that I've taken, wandering here and there, and a few short, un-wordy 'poems'. The subjects of these are everyday things, 'ordinary' one might think. But 'ordinary' and 'extraordinary' are labels of a diffused mind... I share the food, without the wordy menu card!
Bon appetite!
